Quick Guide To Decades

We're Decades - a full service restaurant, elevated bar, six-lane boutique bowling alley, 40+ game retro arcade, and events venue in downtown Lancaster City, Pennsylvania. Located in the historic Stahr Armory on North Queen Street, Decades evokes nostalgia with class in a 90 year old 15,000 square foot gymnasium filled with amusement and cocktails.

With an accessible spaces and a convenient parking garage next door, it’s hassle-free to enjoy nostalgic games, delicious food & beverages, and bowling with your friends, family, dates, or colleagues.

We are open Wednesday-Sunday and are 21 and over after 8:30pm (explore our hours here). Our intention is to create memorable moments for everyone to enjoy, so all ages can visit between Noon and 8:30pm on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

If you are visiting us from out of town, we are conveniently located near a variety of hotels (we are walking distance from the Lancaster Arts Hotel, the Lancaster Marriott, and the Lancaster Holiday Inn).

Explore our quick guide below featuring our arcade, food & beverages, bowling, events, and more!

Gaming Greats

You’re invited to escape into the world of nostalgic throwback arcade games. With 40+ retro games and tokens that are easy on the wallet ($5 gets you 20 tokens, and each game is only 1 to 2 coins!), you can relive the excitement of dodging cars as Frogger, the rush of hitting the first place racer with a Koopa shell in Mario Kart, or getting that elusive 100-point shot in skee-ball.

From Hoop Fever to Off-Road, there’s nothing quite like old fashioned fun. We’ve also added early 2000s games like Terminator Salvation and Dance Dance Revolution. Let’s game!

Flavor-Focused

We love our fun and games, but we can’t let that distract us from one of the best parts of a visit: the food. From unique sandwiches, burgers, salads, shareable apps, pastas, and more, we’re dedicated to bringing a delicious menu for a full-service dining experience crafted for all palates.

We’re also committed to a variety of gluten free and vegan options to accommodate all of our guests with items that fit their needs without losing quality or flavor! You can also visit during one of our new popular special nights (like Neverending Fried Soft Pretzel Bites on Wednesdays or 50¢ Wing Night on Sunday evenings!). We’re not your typical arcade food–and we’re proud to offer culinary options that take your experience to the next level.

The Bar Experience

Whether you’re looking for a chilled Miller Lite or a crafted Espresso Martini, our bar team is continuing their dedication to beverage options that include something for everyone. We’re always evaluating the flavors and options we have (you can continually check our beers on tap here!) while concocting creative cocktails like the Toasted Pecan Smoked Old Fashioned and the Raspberry Basil Lemonade Crush.

The team also wants to ensure those who don’t want alcohol have a taste experience just as great as anyone else–so our mocktails (like the Lavender Elixir and the apple-infused Kiss of Eve) are a delicious blend of dynamic flavors.

Let’s Bowl

Dinner and a game–need we say more? Our 6 bowling lanes are full-service so you can order food and drinks while you bowl strikes (we have bumpers if needed–no judgment here). Our lanes are first-come, first-serve, so bring your buddies and roll a few rocks while sharing our popular soft pretzel bites.

A Unique Celebration Destination

Our hope is that each guest that visits leaves feeling refreshed–with memories of connection and togetherness. We’re hosting anniversary dinners, milestone birthday parties, corporate events, holiday gatherings, and much more, because we know these moments are important–and we love to be part of the celebration (explore our event info here).

We have also been busy with rehearsal dinners, wedding after-parties, and other wedding-related events (you can check out our wedding-focused guide here). Let’s party!

Check out our hours and plan your visit. Here is a helpful FAQ to explore as well. We hope to see you soon!
