DYK? House Of Cards Set Pieces Decorate Decades

Did you know many decor items within our Decades space is from the House of Cards Netflix show?

From our chandeliers to our mantel providing a frame for our N64 station, check out the images below of House Of Cards decor items at Decades.

Some of the Decades partners had a childhood friend who worked on the House Of Cards production. He heard that they were wanting to start something like Decades, so he contacted them and offered a tour of a large warehouse full of items from the set.

Jonathan Yeager, Adam Ozimek, and Chris Trendler (three of the Decades partners), transport one of the chandeliers

After travelling to Joppa, Maryland, the team from Decades chose a variety of pieces that they thought would look cool and match well with the Stahr Armory (the historic building Decades transformed). Since it was so early in the process of developing Decades, the items actually helped guide and influence the full aesthetic of the inside space and experience.

Check out the below images—including screenshots from the show and where those pieces are now at Decades.
