Decades Bartender Wins First Place At VeloCity Cocktail Competition
Moone Abhaninn, Bartender at Decades, won first place at the Lancaster City Alliance VeloCity Cocktail Competition at Tellus360 on Thursday, September 18!
Moone represented Decades in this year’s cocktail competition with 14 other bartenders representing various places in the City of Lancaster.
A panel of judges consisting of regional mixology experts selected Moone’s One Night In Saigon cocktail as the top cocktail of the event.
Lancaster City Mayor Danene Sorace presented Moone with the award, along with a certificate denoting the cocktail as the Official Cocktail Of The City.

Jen Splain from Passerine captured second place while Rob Mauer from Hi-Fi Izakaya took home third place. Genevieve Glatfelter-Jones from The Coffin Bar took home the People’s Choice Award.

The VeloCity celebration is the largest fundraiser for the Lancaster City Alliance, a non-profit working to ensure Lancaster is a clean, safe, and vibrant City for all. The organization works hard to elevate small businesses, nonprofits, and more, to create a thriving community.
The event featured a variety of food & beverage samples, a fashion show, live music, a silent auction, and more.
Decades is a 45 game retro arcade, restaurant, bar, bowling alley, and events venue in the historic Stahr Armory building in downtown Lancaster, PA.
Easy parking garage parking next door. Decades is 21+ after 8:30pm but family friendly before that!
